CVS Bulgaria is looking for volunteers for working with children in the Integration Centre of the State Agency for Refugees

In 2010, CVS Bulgaria launched a partnership with the Integration Centre (IC) to the State Agency for Refugees (SAR). The idea is volunteers to support the activities taking place in the centre.
One of the main activities there is the everyday work with children of foreigners seeking or having received asylum aged from 5 to 12. There they receive assistance in the preparation of their homework and are being prepared for a state exam to determine the level of their general education. The classes take place everyday from 2pm to 4pm in the building of the SAR (Sofia, 21A Montevideo Str).

CVS-Bulgaria is looking for volunteers to support the everyday work of the teacher.
They will receive a suitable training on how to work with the children and will have the chance to observe the process for a while before starting independent activities.
The project has a minimum duration of 3 months, during which the volunteers are expected to come regularly in the centre.
The project could be extended if there is a mutual interest and satisfaction. CVS and the Integration Centre hope the work will start as soon as possible! You will find detailed description of the volunteer position and application form attached.

If you are 21 and older, responsible, disciplined and tolerant, you have the desire and/or experience in working with children and of course you have the time required, send an e-mail with subject: Volunteer for IC with filled application form and your CV to cvs-bg[@]bluelink.net.
