CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

The aim of this training course is to provide learning opportunity and skills development for youth workers, leaders of international and local youthvolunteering activities, projects and programs with special focus on inclusion of young people with fewer possibilities. With this project, we expect youth workers to be able to initiate, develop, prepare,  implement and evaluate an independent volunteering initiative.

IN THIS TRAINING YOU WILL:

•  Revise your knowledge and opinion about volunteering and gain deep understanding about volunteering values and good practices;
• Learn how to be successful leader of volunteering activities and try to synchronise it with your own personality;
• Learn how to organize voluntary activity from a scratch;
• Get opportunity to understand inclusion, tolerance, anti-discrimination, equal opportunities and positive social values through activism and volunteering;
• Expand and share your knowledge and sense of interculturality;
• Improve communication, conflict management, team work, resource management and group dynamic competences;
• Share your previous knowledge and experience with others;
• Share ideas and future plans for mutual activities with other participants;
• Get all needed support in personal and professional development from your trainers;
• Get support for your further follow up activities within the project “Practical Guide Through YOUth Work”;
• Learn many more things and, of course, have fun.

YOU ARE THE YOUTH WORKER:

1. active in your sending organization;
2.  will be actively involved in preparation and leading activities in near future;
3. new in the field and willing to develop their skills, raise your capacity and gain necessary competences for work with young people on local, national and international level;
4. are able and ready to multiply effects of this training course in your organization/community and committed to the whole process of the long-term project “Practical Guide Through YOUth Work”.

 

PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS:

LODGING:  Participants will be accommodated in Youth Training Hostel in beautiful rural surroundings of city Vlasenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Organisers will provide 3 meals and 2 coffee breaks per day. The selected participants will receive the detailed Info-Pack with more information about all practical issues of this training and other useful information.
TRAVEL:

•  100% of the total travel costs will be reimbursed ONLY for the cheapest way of transport (according to the travel costs table which you can find in attachment);
•  Travel costs will be reimbursed by bank transfer to organization’s bank account, AFTER participant provide us with ALL ORIGINAL TICKETS and required documents;
•  Travel plan MUST be previously approved by organizers;
•  Participants must keep all travel documents (tickets, bills, travel agency invoices and boarding passes), as organizers are able to make reimbursement only on the bases of presented documents.
