Are there workcamps in Bulgaria?

Each year CVS – Bulgaria in cooperation with local partners organized several camps in Bulgaria. The topics are diverse most often related to environment, working with children, archeology, culture. In 2011 we had camps at Dobarsko, villages of Garvan and Vlahi and at Dragoman marsh where volunteers constructed and maintained eco paths and created infrastructure for visitorors to some of Bulgaria’s protected areas and took active part in the improvement and development of ecotourism in our country. Some of these camps are organized annually – for example our camp in the village of Vlahi. There volunteers from different parts of Europe and the world gather to help the completion of our “School of Nature” and its adjacent areas, which has already established as a training and best practices center on environmental lifestyle.
