PROJECT DESCRIPTION
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The theme of the project is to promote a critical thinking about sustainability, social inclusion, the analysis of the actual situation about resources exploitation (human, natural …) and fight against discrimination. We are going to analyse from different perspective the situation of the ecological thinking in every different participating Country.
The objective: we intend to provide new tools and new methodologies to the social workers and volunteers, for a deeper reflection about the topic and the actions that everyone can take in everyday life to save the resources.
The goal is to learn each other new ecological way of living, both in a social and in economical way.
The training therefore aims to:
• Explore the cultural differences and explore how different Countries are addressed issues of sustainability and ecological thinking.
• Examine issues from different perspectives in relation to marginalisation and the concept of integration: stereotypes and prejudices.
• Analyse how gender, male and female, can affect group dynamics and how it can contribute to exclusion
• Share and develop new tools in order to provide new methodologies to the social workers in their social contest, to effectively implement competences, civil rights and strategies about the ecological living
• Develop different communication styles, aiming to facilitate discussions and decisional procedures.
METHODOLOGIES
We propose an interactive methodology using the tools promoted by non-formal education. The workshops and the activities will be based on the active methodologies proposed by theatre, storytelling, video, food, role playing…
We believe that all these tools are powerful to promote dialogue, to exchange experiences and good practices, to analyse conflicts and address them in a non-violent way. Ecological contact with space, natural elements and others can be achieved through various non-formal education tools. These are ways of reflecting on human feelings and thinking about different topics, and are particularly suitable for developing the project’s themes.
