Do you already facilitate workshops, trainings or volunteer camps and want to take your facilitation practice to the next level? Then apply for STREAM – Solidarity. Training. Reflection. Exchange across the Movement!

This international Erasmus+ training brings together experienced facilitators from across Europe and neighbouring regions to exchange ideas, explore new approaches and learn from one another’s experiences. After shared input sessions, participants will co-create the programme through an Open Space format, contributing their own workshops, questions, methods or practical challenges.

This year’s theme: Methods that Keep Learning Flowing

Together, we will explore creative and participatory approaches to non-formal education, experiment with new facilitation methods and reflect on how to create engaging, inclusive and meaningful learning experiences.

What you will gain:

  • New facilitation methods for workshops, trainings and volunteer camps
  • Opportunities for peer learning and professional reflection
  • Practical tools to strengthen your facilitation practice
  • An international network of experienced facilitators
  • Inspiration and concrete ideas to apply in your future educational work

Who can apply?

We are looking for participants who:

  • are at least 18 years old;
  • are based in an EU Member State, an Erasmus+ associated country, or one of the eligible neighbouring countries*;
  • have previous experience in facilitation, volunteer camp coordination, political education or similar educational activities;
  • can commit to the full duration of the training; and
  • are willing to facilitate an educational activity after STREAM (such as a workshop, training, volunteer camp, camp coordinator training or another non-formal education activity).

Priority will be given to applicants who are active in SCI branches, international teams, working groups or partner organisations, who are motivated to continue facilitating in the future, and who already have an idea for a non-formal education activity they would like to implement after the training.

*Eligible countries include EU Member States and Erasmus+ associated countries, as well as Albania, Kosovo, Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. Please note that funds for participants from the group of member states not associated to the Erasmus+ programme are limited.

We warmly encourage applications from people of all genders, sexual orientations, abilities, racialised and ethnic backgrounds. Participants will have the opportunity to share any inclusion or accessibility needs before the training so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
