Каним ви на „Балканска вечер”, където доброволци ще ни разказват за приключенията си в Косово, Сърбия и Хърватска.

По време на събитието ще се запознаете с младите хора, участвали в доброволчески проекти тук на Балканите, с техните трепети, изживявания и добри постъпки. Ще се постараем на фона на хубава музика и весели снимки да ви потопим в красотата и проблемите на нашите съседи. Ще се опитаме и да бъдем технологични, като организираме директна скайп връзка с местните доброволци, които най-добре могат да разкажат за доброволческите дейности, организирани в техните страни.

Надяваме се с помощта на нашите гости, да ви потопим в една изключителна Балканска доброволческа атмосфера с културата и бита на трите балкански страни, както и да отговорим на въпроси, свързани с предстоящи доброволчески проекти там.

Work description:
Last years AVI–Moldova was involved in social projects for children from disadvantaged background of the society. We run the Caravan of Surprise for Children in order to help them with the integration into the society. In the frame of this project we have a small club for children where they come together and can get the support from local volunteers who help them to prepare the homework, to organize different games and ineteresting activities. From time to time, groups of volunteers go to shools or orphanage and run activities with children there.

The EVS volunteer will be responsible to organise different activities for children from disadvantaged background of the society: orphans and children with disabilities. There is a open box in our office where people can leave everything they want to donate to children and the volunteer will be responsible to collect all this goods and organize some event for distributing them, for example concerts or some short campus in Social Centers, Orphanages, Children’s Houses.

He will also be responsable for involving this children in some workshops or trainings (depending on the age) about social inclusion, human right, the ability of making decisions in order to help them getting integrated into the society and having equal opportunities as the rest of the society. The volunteer will be the coordinator of these activities, and he will be suported by local volunteers.

One of the daily tasks will be working on the promotion (facebook, AVI web site) of this Caravan in order to attract some other volunteers and maybe some new donors.

Requirements: We are looking for a motivated volunteer willing to work with kids and to organize all the activities for them. Volunteer is required to be flexible, independent and responsible, with good social and organizational skills.

Food: Provided money allocations for food every month.

Work description:
Rights, rights, human rights. The word gets around. Everyone everywhere has human rights, but not everyone everywhere knows and respects them. What are they anyway? how did we get them? what do we do with them? This project will help volunteers to understand the idea of human rights, to gain a sense of themselves as people with dignity and hence with rights, and finally to encourage them to *act*. The main focus of the project is action:  *volunteers in **action*. AVI Moldova wants to collect inspiring stories from classes or schools defending and promoting human rights. These stories will become part of an atlas of volunteers actions compiled and used for the activities of the Academy in order to promote Human Rights and Peer Education among young volunteers.

The project hopes to demonstrate that young people around the world are active in and concerned about their world; that the notion of rights has relevance everywhere in the world; and that young volunteers can, indeed, make a difference by understanding and promoting their rights. By bringing together the stories, the project hopes to create a resource that will provide concrete examples to stimulate and will inspire new and original actions.

The volunteer will work on collecting materials for leaflets and brochures concerning Human Rights which will be spread among young people, he will be responsible to organize and run different street activities together with local volunteers, (for example free hugs, exhibition or sometimes a festival (Film Festival, Song Festival, etc.)) in  order to promote Human Rights and also workshops, trainings in schools for improving the skills. For all activities there are local volunteers who will also be involved in the project.

Requirements: We are looking for a motivated volunteer willing to work in the fiels of human rights. Volunteer is required to be flexible, independent and responsible, with good social and organizational skills.

Work description:
Our organisation aims to develop youth volunteering through various projects proposed by young people. This Club is for young people interested in volunteering, leading projects, networking and having fun, local volunteers work to promote and improve activism among youth.

There are many things they can practice by being a volunteer in this Club:

• Help the community and gain valuable skills,
• Make an impact on people’s lives – locally and internationally,
• Learn to be a leader – and lead a respected organization,
• Network with experienced people in the community and around the world
• Energize life and have fun.
• Grow personally and professionally.

This project has the aim to “spread the volunteering” among yound people and make them understand that volunteer work they perform is worthwhile and appreciated.

The moderator of the Young Volunteer’s Club will be responsible for:

• planning and organising the club’s activities.
• meeting with the department leaders of the club in order to develop action plans;
• including in the plan and implementing new ideas proposed by other volunteers;
• meeting with all the members of the club: preparing and planning the activities for the week, tasks distribution.
• Seminars, workshops, trainings, discussions within the club on different subjects proposed and established during the planning process, regarding volunteering and how youth can get involved;
• preparing the materials for the activities to be organised during the day;
• Activities for Volunteering Promotion (flash-mobs, seminars, trainings, distribution of printed materials…); Presentations in Schools, Centers for Children about volunteering and AVI’s main work directions;
• Office work and meetings with partners of the project;

 

Requirements: We are looking for a motivated volunteer willing to work with young people, to spread the information among them and to motivate them to be active indifferent projects. Any experience in leadership would be relevant.

Project Description:

SCI Catalonia is the Catalan branch of Service Civil International. We define ourselves as an organization that works to promote peace and social justice, understanding this as the existence equal opportunities, with an international perspective. The main lines of work are: Voluntary Work Camps (SCI Catalonia organizes a mean of 10 work camps, hosts 100 volunteers from other countries, and sends volunteers to other camps abroad); Projects for volunteers of medium to long term length; Actions and Project of awareness and training; International Youth Exchanges; Local groups of volunteers.

Work:

The EVS volunteer will give support in the volunteering Area of SCI Catalunya, working as Placement officer. Her/his main tasks will be giving information to local participants who wants to join a workcamp abroad, collecting and sending the application and keeping the contacts with the hosting branches. She/he will also give information about other opportunities of long term volunteering (such as EVS and LTV) In addition to these actions, the EVS volunteer will provide a more direct service acting as a coordinator of a work camp or youth exchange, and participating in local activities. The EVS volunteer is expected to work 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. The volunteer may kindly be asked to work on weekends for special activities. In those cases, there is compensation in free days.

Requirements:

Due to the kind of the activities proposed by the project, good Spanish and good English are necessary. Volunteer must be able to speak Spanish fluently and be motivated to learn Catalan (taking part to Catalan language course). Flexibility, sense of responsibility and self-initiative are very important, as well as ability in team working. It’s important that volunteer had participated to some work camps, youth exchanges and international trainings and that she/he has previous experience whit others SCI braches or partners.

Food: SCI-Cat will provide monthly allocation for food and the volunteer will manage it as he/she prefers.
Accommodation: Usually, in a single room in a shared flat.

Insurance: AXA insurance covered by the EVS programme.

Project Description:

This is an EVS project. ADELA is an association born in 2005 in an organic farm in Valls (named Can Pipirimosca”), with the aim of promoting a sustainable lifestyle respecting the environment. The project will let the international volunteer to join with other short term volunteers (Woofers and local people) the daily life in the organic farm Can Pipirimosca. Starting from his own experience and the training that he will receive, he will give support to the members of the association in the tasks of coordination the

Work:

Daily activities related to organic agriculture, sustainability and recycling; the association occasionally organises meetings and seminars at weekends and also offers the space to other organisations or NGOs to develop their own activities. The objective is to promote values such as respect for the environment, sustainability, cooperation, self sufficiency, community responsibility, and to teach people different knowledge related to art, music, ecology, alternative energy, peace culture, etc The EVS volunteer will also take part in this week-end activities and is free to suggest new projects, to organise activities or to contribute with his/her own experience. All these experiences will provide the volunteer with a multicultural approach to a sustainable and alternative way of life that goes on daily in Can Pipirimosca. The volunteer will participate to a course of Spanish and he also will have the opportunity of practicing Spanish with the local volunteers.

Requirements:

We look for volunteers interested in environment and nature who are motivate for life in countryside. Life conditions are very basics…be prepared!

Food: People living in Can Pipirimosca will cook together their meals with the aliments from the ecological farm. Everything is vegetarian. They?ll also learn how to make their own bread and cakes.
Accommodation: The volunteer will be accommodating in Canpipirimosca house and he will participate to the common life of the community. He/she will have a single room in the ecological farm. Toilets and showers are next to the house but outside in the garden.
Pocket money: 105 EUR per month
Insurance: yes, volunteer will be cover whit AXA insurance

Visa: In case the volunteer needs a visa, visa feeds will be reimbursed whit the money of the project. 

Мая в момента е доброволец по Европейска доброволческа служба във Виена, Австрия. Нейната служба се провежда в дом за бежанци, където тя помага за тяхната интеграция и социализация. Преди година Мая участва в проекта на Си Ви Ес – Бълагрия и Каритас София в Интеграционния център за бежанци. По-надолу може да прочетете нейните впечатления от ЕДС проекта й във Виена.

 

Куркума, шафран, пипер, магданоз, чили, басмати, спагети, кафе, чай, кекс, крясъци, песни, сълзи, усмивки, ориенталски ритми, африкански мелодии, пащу, фарси, дари, кюрдски, урду, арабски, немски, португалски, английски, сомали…

Така ухае и звучи един обичаен работен ден в даващия подслон на около 200 бежанци в Австрия дом на Каритас „Дария”.

Първи етаж. Седем стаи и петнадесет непридружени непълнолетни младежи на възраст между 14 и 18 години, без родители и близки,  съжителстват дни, месеци, години в очакване на бежански статут.

Птици, палми, камили, пеперуди, рибки, цветя, карти, рисунки и колажи весело украсяват стени, врати, стаи и столове.

Денят започва лениво, в очакване на младежите да се приберат от училище или курс по немски език. Междувременно ми предстои обичайното ежедневно приключение – голямото пазаруване на основни хранителни продукти за 15 души. Малко сметки, каси, отчитане и време за четене – какво се е случило, докато ме е нямало – прилежно воден дневник от дежурещите по цяло денонощие социални работници и педагози.

Едно по едно децата започват да се прибират и посядват в т.нар. „офис” – иначе стая почти като техните, да споделят нещо весело от деня, да се оплачат,  да се похвалят, просто да си поседим на чаша капучино или чай, да си разкажем някоя и друга история или ей така да си поприказваме… Някой си приготвя храна, друг чай, трети похапва, а понякога и заедно, някой говори по скайп, играем шах, табла и каквото друго се намери. Ала все някога идва ред и на не толкова приятното – домашното : ), и потъваме в света на езиците, географията, математиката.

Но някой се е оплакал от болки в корема или има час при лекаря/зъболекаря и се отправяме към кабинета. Понякога ‘пътешестваме’ до някое училище, когато предстои тест за определяне на нивото на владеене на немски или  пък предстои записване за курс. А когато дойде ново дете, отскачаме и до регистрационната служба. Ходим на покупки с поверените ни за сезона бонове за облекло и обувки. И от време на време посещаваме отдела за издирване на роднини в Червения кръст. Да, понякога оттам идват и не толкова радостни новини.

Но точно в този момент, докато пиша тези редове, из стаите се носят пищните звуци на местна сомалийска песен. Тече трескава подготовка за парти. Само след два часа ще празнуваме рожденния ден на едно от момчетата и докато аз удобно съм се настанила на канапето в коридора, Кати (практикантка от Германия) е запретнала ръкави, въоръжена с миксер, яйца, брашно и шоколад, Паул (заменил военната служба с година социална работа) приготвя салата, а Антония (една от младите госпожици) готви апетитно месо с ориз. Предвидливо сме се снабдили със 17 свещички за тортата. На връх рождения си ден момчето получи най-прекрасния подарък, който трудно може да се сравни с домашно приготвената храна и  грижливо подбраната празнична картичка – бежански статут. От много време не бях виждала по-щастлива усмивка на нечие лице.

А днес е сряда – денят, в който всяка седмица, точно в шест, цялото семейство се събираме за обща вечеря, приказки, усмивки и споделени емоции.
